Originally emerging from the insurance department of the Otto Group, Hanseatic Versicherungsdienst (HVD) was established as an independent private limited company in 1964. Since then, HVD has reliably and competently advised and supported the domestic and foreign companies of the Otto Group (Inhouse Broker) with the handling of their insurance matters.
Our presence on the international insurance market for over 40 years has established a respectable basis for offering all domestic and foreign companies insurance concepts with advantageous conditions.
Besides the responsibilities for the Otto Group, we are also active on the German market for the private insurance interests of the employees. We analyze current contracts and offer insurance policies which are optimally customized to match cost and benefit perspectives.
Furthermore, we as an insurance broker provide our knowledge to a great number of companies and individuals outside the Otto Group.
